The versions of the apps below work in Big Sur but have these known issues.

And now, it's connected to the Adobe Document Cloud − making it easier than ever to work across computers and mobile devices. PDF Studio Viewer works on macos 11 (Big Sur), macOS 10.15 (Catalina), 10.14 (Mojave), 10.13 (High Sierra), 10.12 (Sierra), Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan). After installation, the installer should remove the downloaded files automatically. If this does not happen, you can manually drag the files to the trash.

We are still testing and optimizing our other apps to make them fully compatible with Big Sur. We recommend that you run your Adobe apps only in operating systems and hardware platforms as noted in the system requirements for your apps.

If you're in the middle of a project or other business-critical work, we recommend that you wait until the project is complete. Before you upgrade, make sure you have a reliable backup and can restore to your current version in case you run into issues. If possible, upgrade in a test environment to ensure your third-party plug-ins, workflows, and configuration continue to work as expected.

- Jun 10, 2021 Acrobat Reader DC, Acrobat DC, Acrobat 2020, and Acrobat 2017 are compatible with macOS Big Sur (version 11). When does Adobe plan to natively support Apple Silicon devices? We are working to ensure that our apps are natively compatible with Apple Silicon devices, but do not have a release date yet.
- The problem is that the Adobe website that deals with software downloads DOES NOT have an option for Acrobat Reader for Big Sur, or even any Apple operating system at or above 11. As Big Sur, with all the updates now has a version of 11.1, it is not supported as an install location for the Acrobat Reader.
